Hydroseeding is considered to be a rapid, environmental-friendly lawn making technology with cost-effectiveness. Technology

Preceded by the preparatory soil and seedbed works, the grass seeds are blended with water and various organic components (enhancing seed germination and adhesion) and finally with hydromulch, which blend is to be propelled to the ground at high pressure. Grass seeds already start absorbing both water and nutrients while in the tank. If it comes to hydroseeding, grass seeds are not to be on the move, they are stationary, which behaviour is owing to the environmental-friendly, anti-soil erosion and biodegradable agents included in the mulch. These features of the blend enable this technology to be applied in steep sloping areas or regions prone to soil erosion.

Hydroseeding makes it possible to soak the grass seeds earlier, which itself accelerates the germination process. During the soaking, grass seeds can also be coated against fungi diseases.

Results

Grass seeds sown with the help of hydroseeding are spread evenly and remain stationary. Owing to this fact, grass growth is even and unbroken. Using copolymers (which are able to provide a huge amount of water exceeding their own mass) added to the hydroseeding blend, the grass seedbed is less likely to be drought-stricken, therefore seed germination is considerably promoted. In places with low bio-culture, several types of fungi and bacteria can be injected into the blend to enable the plants to absorb organic substances.
